Last week in our Banned Books Week post we wrote about Debbie Terhar, president of the Ohio Board of Education, and fellow board member Mark Smith wanting to remove Buckeye author Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye from the suggested reading list for Ohio high schools.  We’re happy to report now that due to public uproar the novel will remain on the suggested reading list.  Click here to read more.
